Kisses can mean I'm sorry: Colin.
I was changing the sheets on the boys bed last night and laid both mattresses on the floor so the boys could play on them. They had the BEST time... so much fun that before long they wheeled both of their lego trucks on the bed and Colin started throwing the legos off. I told him that was a no-no and if he did it again, he would have time out. He looked at me, raised his hands up real high, smiled and chucked those two legos across the room. I had been lying the floor up against the mattress and immediately said "ok, let's go to......" (and started to stand up) when he lunged over and pressed his lips on mine. I did not kiss back b/c he was "in trouble" so he drew his face away and looked at me funny like he was thinking "what the heck? Why didn't she make the kiss sound?" He quickly tried again and this time he just put his lips on mine and stayed there, neither of us "finishing the kiss"... finally I started cracking up and finished the kiss. I was hysterically laughing and then Colin started laughing and the little stinker weaseled his way out of timeout!

Halloween
The boys went trick-or-treating last night for the first time. We went to Nick & Trish's, Mary's (she wasn't home), Bree & Ron's and Jeff's. The boys had their first candy... first was kit kat, next was reeses and she washed it all down with M & M's. The boys LOVED the candy. They dressed as pirates complete with mustaches... love my boys.

Mexico and "The Soap"
We went to Mexico (R.P.) with Nonnie and Grandpa this weekend and stayed in Mike and Carol Pizzi's beautiful condo in Sonoran Sun. The boys had an unbelievable time running around on the beach, in the pool and building sand castles with Daddy and Grandpa. What an awesome weekend had by all!
One thing I don't want to forget is "The Soap"... the boys both love sucking from a locked foam soap dispenser. I tried sucking it and you can't get an actual mouth full of soap, but enough to taste it. I know we shouldn't let them have it, but we do. I think its hilarious!

We went to the Everything Kid's Fest that Steve put on at Salt River field on Saturday. It was fun. The boys had the most fun in the petting zoo. There were ducks, pigs, goats, sheep, a big sleeping cow. It was fun and Cody was VERY gentle with the animals. Colin took a while to warm up but after that spent some time petting the goats.
We went to Aunt Dena's to eat Lebanese food for Lelei's 21st birthday on Sunday. The boys loved the lebanese food!
Both boys are hitting and biting a bit when they are frustrated but will immediately give you a hug and a kiss to make it all better. :-)
Love my boys.

Mr. Colin has had a rough couple of days. On Saturday he woke up feeling warm. I took his temp and it was 102.5.... I decided to watch it. He went down for his nap fine and woke up feeling much hotter. He temped at 103.5. I gave him motrin at this point and it took the temp right down. The last I took was 100.0.
Today is Wednesday and he still isn't really quite himself. Sherry said that yesterday he "cried most of the day"... I was worried that he was gonna be sick when I got him up from his nap and he was GREAT. No temp, no symptoms, nothing... and pretty dang happy. We had a good night, good dinner... bath, playtime, everthing. Both boys slept from 7:15 - 6 am. Colin woke up a little fussy and desperately wanted his binky. I felt bad leaving mom with him but they played out back with bubbles. Colin went to his crib at 8:45 am and acted like he wanted to bed, mom put him in bed and then he got fussy, even wanted to give his binky back. She rocked him and eventually he went down.
Cody is acting like his normal, happy, goofy self. What a lover Code has become lately!
Hope Colin gets back to his normal happy self soon. He has two teeth coming in on top so at this point, I will chalk it up to that!

Last night Colin had 2 timeouts during dinner for throwing food (he had this look in his eye like he was daring me to actual give him a timeout) and one timeout after dinner for biting. Cody had his first timeout, from me, for hitting Colin. He was devastated and took about 15 mins to recover.
Love my boys!

The boys had a great day with Grandma and Slim today. They went to the park and ran around and had fun.
Tonight Cody pushed dad's laundry basket all the way into his room. I asked Colin to push it back, and he did. What a good listener!
I am busy packing for the trail ride. We leave tomorrow with Nonnie as soon as I can get home from school. We will meet dad and grandpa at the site on Saturday morning. Dad, Mom and the boys will spend the night in the forest in the trailer. The boys should have a great time running around in the cool weather.

Mom is watching the boys today and told me that Colin hit Cody on the head with a block, twice. Poor Cod!
The boys know some body parts now and can point to them, they know: nose, hair, tummy, eyes and mouth.
Last night Cody hit me. I rubbed my head and made sad face. Both boys came over to me, rubbed my head too... both with sad faces.
